Issued Based Consultation with Children with disability as a Child-led CRC reporting process
Consortium Nepal in collaboration with World Vision Nepal conducted one day issue-based consultation workshop with children from disability sector as a part of child led UNCRC reporting process Kathmandu on 18th of March 2023. The workshop accomplished with the objective to enhance knowledge and skills on Child Rights and CRC reporting process ,to provide knowledge and skills necessary to Child-to-Child consultation and to collect information from the Children with disability care about their situation on child rights and compile the information for the child led AlterNet reporting. There were 16 Participants presented in the workshop including children. At the sessions of the workshop, the information related to Child Rights, its four pillars and, UNCRC and its reporting process, issues among themselves were shared. Participants from disability sector asked to mention about the problem, progress as well as the challenges faced by them. The whole workshop was facilitated by Mr. Kiran Thapa .
