Amit Kumar Mandal, Biratnagar

Amit Mandal from Biratnagar was born on October 13, 2007. He studies in grade 10 at Shree Satyanarayan Secondary School. He is very dedicated towards his academic course. In future, he is planning to enroll in BSW after completing class 12. He has keen interest in public speaking, playing cricket, reading and working in community service. Impressed by his leadership skills, he is acting as member of the municipal level children’s network. As part of municipal level children’s network he got the opportunity to participate in public speaking and capacity building training sponsored by the municipality. He also worked on child empowerment and child marriage issues in his previous days. Representing member of National Child Advocates Council, he got the opportunity to build open communication with local government. Through the communication local government come up with the actual funding needed to address the issues facing by children from grassroots level.
