On 26-Oct-2024, Children for CoP and Nationally Determined Contributions ( NDCs) under the leadership is conducted by the Youth Alliance for Environment and Shift Campaign in coordination with Consortium Nepal. This training aimed to empower the children to engage in climate advocacy by highlighting their role in shaping NDCs and influencing the upcoming CoP.  During the training, the basic terms of climate change, and terminology related to the CoP and UNFCCC process including the NDCs were shared. In addition to this, the Protocol and the objectives formulated under the CoP organized in different parts of the globe were shared. Additionally, the training includes discussions about the effects of climate change, strategies for adaptation, methods of mitigation, and strengthening climate resilience using relevant examples in context to Nepal to help children understand these concepts. The perspective from the children for third revised NDC was gathered. Finally, training was ended by sharing how the children could be engaged and how the scenario and discussion seems to be at the COP and how it could be beneficial for the children and youth.
