On 12th October 2023, Consortium Nepal organized the Annual Social Audit-2080 .It aims to provide the programmatic and financial updates of Consortium Nepal of whole year 2022-2023.Social Audit in organization aims to maintain the accountability and transparency. Basically social audit aims to promote transparency in organizations. It reveals how an organization is utilizing the resources and what type of impact does program have. Thus, Consortium Nepal aims to improve the quality benchmark of the program as well as financial and accounting transparency conducting social audit. Consortium Nepal aims to collect the recommendation from stakeholders to foster improvement, encourage cooperating accountability as well as promotion of the transparency by this Social Audit. There were total 39 participants (21 male and 18 female).
Guest from National Child Rights Councils, NGO federation, child rights activist and NCAC member from Bagmati Province were on the dash as a guest. Child Rights activist Rabin Nepali was the facilitator of the program for that day. After the remarks, programmatic explanation was presented by Gaurav K.C, Program Coordinator of Consortium Nepal. He explained about the organization history, introduction, program details, key achievement as well as challenges of Consortium Nepal of fiscal year 2022/2023. Similarly, Yasoda Baral AFO, Consortium Nepal, present about the financial status of fiscal year 2022/2023. Participants presented in program added recommendation and suggestions on programmatic and financial part of Consortium Nepal during the open discussion.
