Consortium Nepal with the support of GSIF/ OVN conducted a different series of discussions with stakeholders regarding to the girls education, engagement and empowerment. All the views are compiled and shared with the different stakeholders and development partner during the program. During the discussion Bishnu bahadur Khatri present the draft policy paper which includes the challenges, gaps, issues on girl’s education, engagement and empowerment. The gathering aimed to provide actionable recommendations and encourage collaborative efforts to improve girls’ educational and social involvement in the country. The speaker emphasized the importance of specific policies to empower girls, as well as education’s role in overcoming cycles of poverty and injustice. The policy paper delivered an in-depth presentation. The draft noted numerous important issues like Girls face disparities in education access, particularly in rural and impoverished regions. The early marriage and gender-based violence has huge impacts in educational achievement. There is a need for more gender-responsive curricula and safer learning settings. Strategies to increase females’ involvement in leadership and decision-making.
